| Justin Bieber to Take Paternity Test Posted: 07 Nov 2011 11:24 AM PST Teen idol Justin Bieber has announced plans to go through with a paternity test in the suit involving an alleged tryst with 20-year-old Maria Yeater, according to TMZ.  Justin's lawyers contacted the attorneys of Yeater on Friday, confirming the DNA test will happen. The pop star, currently in Europe with girlfriend Selena Gomez, will return to the US in a few weeks. Bieber's team says the results will prove he is not the father of Yeater's 3-month-old son, Tristyn. Sources close to the star revealed they plan to sue Ms. Yeater once the outcome establishes Bieber is not the dad. Bieber's camp reportedly wants to make an example out of the baby mama to show there are consequences involving false allegations against a celebrity. |

| Danzig Behaves Badly, Gets Mocked by Ted Leo at Fun Fun Fun Fest Posted: 07 Nov 2011 02:15 PM PST Filed under: Concerts and Tours, News, Holy Hell As Rolling Stone reports, Danzig was set to rock the Black Stage on Friday (Nov. 4) night, performing tracks from his solo career, Misfits hits and Samhain songs as part of his Danzig Legacy tour. But the prospect of a nostalgic punk rock evening turned into a disappointing recital. Festival promoters Transmission Entertainment knew there was trouble brewing when the singer arrived in Austin Friday morning. He complained of having a pesky cough, claiming it was going to prevent him from playing at all. In order to perform, Danzig demanded an odd assortment of items: Bitamins, French onion soup and a Wendy's chicken sandwich. As the day progressed, the Misfit's main worry was the weather, describing it as "too cold." Soon enough, the skies had cleared and the temperature had reached a perfect 71 degrees Fahrenheit. Still, Danzig demanded several onstage heaters so that he remain within a few degrees of Hell at all times. |

Many fans hoped that this time around they would get to see the character really cut loose with an R rating, especially when the duo behind the insane Crank movies were announced as directors. Fellow runner and former speedskater Apolo Ohno was also there to pound the pavement, and after the run he noted, "I went from short, ballistic-type one-and-a-half minute training to something that lasts 3 hours, 24 minutes longer. The last 6.2 miles are gruesome, my body isn't designed for this." Impressively, Ohno finished the race in 3 hours, 25 minutes and earned a $26,200 donation from Subway for the Special Olympics.  Former "Survivor" winner Ethan Zohn participated in the race and completed his second marathon, despite battling Hodgkin's lymphoma. Zohn, who finished in 4 hours and 20 minutes, said, "I'm feeling good!" Four hours and twenty minutes later, Lopez completed the 26.2-mile run around the five boroughs, and proudly said, "Oh look! I get a medal and everything! I love it. I want to make it an annual thing!" |

| 300 Sequel Gets Another Name Change And Possible Synopsis Posted: 07 Nov 2011 08:57 AM PST The folks over at Moviehole say that casting agents were handed out a cast sheet looking to cast Artemisia in the upcoming 300 sequel. What is significant about this is that the cast sheet had the name of the movie as 300: The Battle of Artemisium, instead of the previously reported 300: The Battle of Artemisia. There is was also a brief synopsis attached to the the sheet that gives us a possibility of what the story might hold for the upcoming sequel to Zack Snyder's 300.
