Terry Gilliam On TRANSFORMERS And THE DARK KNIGHT Posted: 03 Dec 2011 09:26 AM PST If you were to say that Terry Gilliam has lost it recently I don't even think his staunchest supporter or fan could really argue with you. His last few movies have been at best noble failures, at worst just plain bad. But at one time the words "new Gilliam movie" would fill a lot of people (me included) with the same excitement as "new Nolan movie" does today, or if you prefer a slightly different cinema going experience - "new Michael Bay movie". Over at Hero Complex they have been conducting an in depth interview with Gilliam and have just posted a few extra quotes that didn't make the final cut. Here the director of 12 Monkeys, Brazil and The Fisher King gives his opinion on two movies by two very diferent directors that in many ways for better or worse have come to define either end of the "blockbuster" spectrum. Brooke Mueller Arrested in Aspen Posted: 03 Dec 2011 10:28 AM PST Shortly after midnight, Brooke Mueller was arrested and charged with assault and possession of cocaine in Aspen, Colorado. Charlie Sheen's ex was booked on a misdemeanor 3rd degree assault charge. The Aspen Police found Mueller inside a nightclub called Escobar after she allegedly assaulted a woman near the club. Mueller was released from the Pitkin County jail this morning on $11,000 bond. Ironically, Mueller and Sheen were caught up in a domestic violence case in Aspen nearly two years ago. Brooke, 34, had previously struggled with addiction and has been in and out of rehab multiple times. In August, Sheen had whisked Mueller away on a trip to Mexico, saying he was proud of her for staying sober. Mueller's publicist declined to comment.

Mindy McCready and Son Found Hiding in Closet Posted: 03 Dec 2011 09:53 AM PST The missing five-year-old son of country singer Mindy McCready was found hiding in a closet with his mother in Arkansas, according to Deputy U.S. Marshall David Rahbany. Zander and McCready were found in a vacant home in Heber Springs, Arkansas on Friday night. Officials believed that the singer, 36, and Zander might be with her boyfriend David Wilson, who resides in Heber Springs. A neighbor reported there were lights on at a vacant house, before marshals and police entered the home and found the mother and child. "She didn't resist," Rahbany said of McCready. Is Mindy Pregnant with Twins? The Florida Department of Children and Families had reported Zander missing from his grandfather's house in Cape Coral, Florida on Tuesday, and a Florida judge issued an order Thursday for Zander to picked up by authorities. Mindy's mother has legal custody of Zander but the singer has visitation rights and was with him when he was reported missing. Zander was taken in to the Arkansas Division of Child and Family Services. No charges were filed against McCready or Wilson.
