Reddit, what movie trailer did you find didn't represent what the movie was about at all?

Posted: 11 Dec 2011 10:26 AM PST

Mine has to be Fight Club. When you watch the movie trailer it looks more like an angst against corporate America film. Which it is, but it doesn't dive into the psychological aspect at all. Fight Club is definitely my all time favorite film, but it fooled me. What about you?

FEATURE: A Christmas List For Rormachine

Posted: 11 Dec 2011 08:55 AM PST

Christmas is a time for giving, but also for receiving. And I want the following things by God. I have included links to the places you can purchase the items should you so wish. First up is this Star Wars Bobba Fett hoodie from ThinkGeek. What else needs to be said? It's a damn hoodie that looks like Bobba Fett's armor.. Next is something I have had my eye on for a while but could never justify buying it because I actually don't know anyone that enjoys splaying chess that much. There are other Superhero/geek themed chess sets out there that are a bit less gaudy but this Marvel Superheroes one is nice and old school and awesome. It can be hard enough to track down but there is one selling on Ebay now.. Next up is something that appeals to the homemaker in me. And something that when I mentioned to my

RETRO REVIEW: Spider-Man And Batman

Posted: 10 Dec 2011 11:21 AM PST

When I was smaller, the idea of a Marvel and DC crossover was a dream. Little did I know that there had actually been quite a few crossovers from the 90's. I found out one random day on the internet, and immediately the next day I went to Jim Hanley's Universe to purchase the DC Comics vs. Marvel Comics trade paperback. Wow, seeing these guys on the same page itself was almost too much. I went and bought some of the crossover classics, such fun reads. (The best being JLA/Avengers.) I am not here to talk about those however, I am here to talk about a one-shot from the 95 featuring two unlikely partners: the amazing Spider-Man and the Batman. It's funny, these two are quite the opposite. They're both heroes, and believe in a strong sense of morality. Spidey definitely has more fun with the job, and actually seems to enjoy

RUMOR: Sgt. Slaughter And The Slaughterhouse Appearing In G.I. JOE: RETALIATION?

Posted: 11 Dec 2011 08:19 AM PST

*Exclusive Rumor to CBM I received an email tip last night from someone who claims to have worked on the G.I. Joe: Retaliation set who claims that the original Sgt. Slaughter himself (Robert Remus) will be appearing in the G.I. Joe sequel. Of course, take this with grains of salt at the ready, but my source claims that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson came up with the idea for a cameo for his wrestling buddy and that the films producers and director John Chu were all for it. Reportedly, the Joe's will be on the run from Cobra at some point during the film and Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson) states he knows where they can hide out for a while, with the man who trained him to be a Joe. Enter Sgt. Slaughter and the Slaughter House!!!!!! As a kid growing up in the '80s nothing topped G.I. Joe and the number 1 Joe
