ANIME: Surprisingly Awesome First Trailer For Live-Action RUROUNI KENSHIN

Posted: 16 Dec 2011 09:06 AM PST

Source: CineHeroes Official Synopsis: Japan is about to enter the Meiji era and transition from the Middle Ages to industrialization. The samurai have no place in this modern society where warriors are less useful than traders. Unemployed, having lost the right to wear the sword, and facing guns and cannons, the samurai will gradually disappear into legend. Kenshin is one of such lost warrior. Once a grand master of the sword he is now a vagabond, wandering the roads of Japan. However, his chivalry and courage will make this one-time mercenary a loved and respected vigilante. Who here remembers watching this awesome anime on Cartoon Network's Toonami? When it was first reported that this was being made into a live action movie, my interest was piqued enough to keep tabs on the project but I honestly wasn't expecting too much from the finished product. Boy, has that changed with this awesome teaser trailer.

When it was first reported that this was being made into a live action movie, my interest was piqued enough to keep tabs on the project but I honestly wasn't expecting too much from the finished product. Video! Whoopi's Real Whoopi Cushion

Talk show co-host Whoopi Goldberg was asking questions on "The View" with guest Claire Danes, when she accidentally let out a fart.

Joy Behar, who was sitting next to Goldberg, turned to her cohort in horror, while Whoopi put her hand on her stomach and handled the awkward situation like a pro. She joked, "Excuse me, I just let a frog outta there," motioning to her backside.

Danes smiled, "It's okay," and the audience laughed.

This isn't the first time Whoopi has let one rip on the show. In a May segment with Dr. Oz, she proudly admitted to frequently farting on set.
