Wonder explained where the idea came from, telling Lopez, "When I was a little boy, unfortunately, we didn't have toys and things for Christmas, and I always said, 'If God blessed me with becoming rich, I would want to have a house full of toys for kids that didn't have anything.'"

Stevie, who will be performing at the benefit, will be joined by musical guests Justin Bieber and Drake. The star-studded event takes place at the Nokia Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 17.

Nominations for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

SAG President Ken Howard introduced Judy Greer (The Descendants) and Regina King (TNT's Southland and the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Social Media Ambassador) who announced the nominees for this year's Actors&#174. SAG Awards Committee Chair Jo Beth Williams and Vice Chair Daryl Anderson announced the stunt ensemble nominees.

The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT) from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. An encore performance will air immediately following on TNT at 10 p.m. (ET)/7 p.m. (PT). Recipients of the stunt ensemble honors will be announced from the SAG Awards red carpet during the TNT.tv and TBS.com live pre-show webcasts, which begin at 6 p.m. (ET)/ 3 p.m. (PT).

Of the top industry accolades presented to performers, only the Screen Actors Guild Awards are selected solely by actors' peers in Screen Actors Guild. Two nominating panels-one for television and one for film-each composed of 2,100 randomly selected Guild members from across the United States, chose this year's Actor&#174 and stunt ensemble honors nominees. Integrity Voting Systems, the Awards' official teller, mailed the nominations secret ballots on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Voting was completed at noon on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011.

The complete list of nominations for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards follows. A replay of both announcements will be available for viewing on TNT.TV and TBS.COM.

Author's outlook on Inception

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 10:12 AM PST

Dear Redditors, just launched our dream movie project after 2 years of struggle. And I am shaking in my pants :(

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 09:26 AM PST

I have let go everything for this dream. My job, my savings, socializing, comforts, weekends, sometimes even food.(and the same for my team) I am under a loan as well.

If people do not come to our website in the next three months, we are screwed. Our target market is the West for now. And we don't have a single friend from outside India. And that is scaring the hell out of me.

What do I do when all I have got is belief in my dream(and my team) and no network in my target geography. I have tried on twitter and even spent on facebook ads, but to no avail. We need early adopters.

Can you help us out?

I have mentioned nothing about the project because I am not sure whether you are going to like me "marketing my stuff" All I can say is that it is something you movie lovers should love. But that is only my belief. And I could be wrong.

So if you ask I will share the URL of my website and would LOVE to see some of you join as early adopters. Or else, this thread will go into oblivion as so many others on reddit :)

Whatever the case be, I must accept my fate with grace. But I still can't help shaking in my pants :D

Did Kim K. Lie to Barbara Walters about Her Marriage?

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 11:45 AM PST

Host Barbara Walters chatted with her "The View" cohorts Wednesday about her "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" list - including the Kardashian women.

Walters said she didn't think Kim exactly lied about her troubled marriage to Kris Humphries when the reality star said "Married life is good" -- it was just bad timing.

kardashians-walters.jpg

Barbara explained, "It's not that she lied, that was the first interview that we did. We did it in October," three weeks before Kim filed for divorce on October 31.

Then Kourtney announced she was pregnant with her second child and the news broke that Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom were moving to Dallas. Walters said, "When we said to them, 'Is anything going to happen between now and the time we are airing?' They told me, 'No, you're safe, nothing!'" Barbara joked, "You cannot trust the Kardashians!"

The veteran interviewer also made an appearance on David Letterman Tuesday night, in which the late-night host poked fun at Walters' choices.

Watch a sneak peek of Walters' interview with the Kardashians (airing Wednesday at 9:30 PM on ABC), in which Khloe admitted she is "called an ogre" compared to her sisters!

The Extra List: Celebrity Homes for Rent

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 11:10 AM PST

Even Hollywood's top names are feeling the harsh economic times. The bursting of the housing bubble has turned some A-listers from homeowners to landlords.

Check out these stars and their luxurious homes... that are for rent! (Courtesy of Forbes.com)

The Extra List: Celebrity Homes for Rent

Oprah Winfrey

Billionaire network executive Oprah Winfrey is renting out her swanky Chicago Beaux Arts-style apartment for $15K a month. The apartment has a massive master bedroom suite, a wine room and a solarium. Winfrey reportedly purchased the co-op for $5.6 million in 2006.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber join the celebrity landlord list, with their plush, 4,400-square foot, vine-covered Brentwood villa that was recently rented for $18,500 a month. Watts bought the house from actress Sally Field after calling it quits with Heath Ledger. The house is reportedly worth $6 million.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell

Longtime Hollywood couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have their Bali-inspired Malibu beach house listed for sale at $13.3 million. They are also opting to rent out the beachside home for a whopping $80K a month. The picturesque property includes an outdoor "living room" with a fireplace, and a guest house with a meditation room.

Pamela Anderson

Bodacious blonde Pamela Anderson is renting out her Malibu home as a vacation rental, and is asking for $20K a week, or $85K a month. The ritzy property, which Anderson personally decorated, features a master bedroom suite with a sauna, a pool and wigwam-style guest house.

Paula Deen

TV chef Paula Deen listed her Tybeen Island, GA townhouse on a nightly or weekly basis, starting at $300 a night (plus housekeeping). Deen named the home Y'all Come Inn, and originally purchased it as a vacation home for her family. What are some perks to renting a chef's home? The kitchen is stocked with Deen's cookbooks, condiment and spice lines, as well as a cardboard cutout of Paula herself.

Meg Ryan

Meg Ryan rented out her Bel Air estate for $40K a month to Diane Keaton, after failing to find a buyer in 2009.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman rented out her New York City West Village condo for $45K a month after purchasing a penthouse in Chelsea that boasts a sky garage.

Diamond RingsAstralwerks

Diamond Rings mastermind John O'Regan would rather not know if he's performing in front of his idols. The Toronto electro-popper came to this realization after discovering Le Tigre leader Kathleen Hanna and Beastie Boy Ad-Rock were on hand for one of his recent New York concerts.

"I'm glad that when I came out I didn't know beforehand or else I would've been way more nervous," he tells Spinner. "There's a rap part to my set and if I had known that Ad-Rock was going to be there I would've... I don't know what I would've done!"

Rest assured, the set went smoothly. But it certainly gave O'Regan a lot to think about.

Destroyer14's Review of EVERLAST

Posted: 13 Dec 2011 07:06 PM PST

Sometimes it's good to go into something without knowing a single thing about it. When I saw Spider-Man 3 for the first time back in 2007, I knew practically everything about it beforehand. Nothing really surprised me since I knew almost everything. If I hadn't known the information beforehand, would it have been a more rewarding experience? Probably. The point is, going into Everlast, a graphic novel by Archaia Entertainment due for release today. I didn't know too much about it. I knew about the general concept, the pre-End of Days world, but that was about it. So going in, I had no clue what to expect. First, the plot of the book, then my review. The story follows Derek Everlast, a 'soldier' who's mission is to rescue people from the end of the world event: The End of Days. In the center of the earth lies Eden, known as 'Haven.' 144,000
