Is Britney Spears Planning a Summer Wedding... Can She?

Posted: 21 Dec 2011 11:01 AM PST

Four days after making their giant engagement announcement, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are reportedly planning a summer wedding, even though Spears is still under conservatorship, which means she can't get married.

spears-trawick.jpg

The couple, who celebrated their engagement at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas over the weekend, reportedly could get hitched in a destination wedding to Mexico -- one of their favorite getaways -- that is, if legal obstacles are removed.

The pop star happily showed off her $90K, 3-carat platinum Neil Lane engagement rock at the Las Vegas bash -- which doubled as Jason's 40th birthday party. Spears and agent-turned-fiance Trawick have known each other since 2006, and started dating in 2009.

Before Brit ties the knot, her conservatorship would have to be terminated, according to California attorney David E. Wohl. He explained to FOX News, "For a legal marriage to take place in California, a person must have the ability to make legally binding decisions. Because Britney is under a conservatorship, for all intents and purposes she cannot get married. The conservatorship would have to be set aside before she can legally tie the knot." He added, "As far as the law is concerned, Britney is a child."

In order for it to be set aside, Spears would have to present a psychologist's report to the court, indicating she is capable of functioning as a responsible adult.

The songstress had a very public meltdown in 2008, and since then has been under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, and attorney Andrew Wallet, who control almost every aspect of her personal and professional life.

Spears' conservatorship will be reviewed in January.

Could J.Lo and Marc Anthony's Divorce Turn Nasty?

Posted: 21 Dec 2011 11:00 AM PST

Although they appear to be amicably divorcing, "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez and estranged husband Marc Anthony may now be heading into an ugly split, reports UsWeekly.

Anthony is allegedly upset over photos of Lopez and her new squeeze, 24-year-old backup dancer Casper Smart, bonding in Hawaii with Max and Emme, Lopez's 3-year-old twins with Anthony.

Marc "hit the roof," one source told Us, adding, "It caused a huge blowup, which could spur the singer to go back on his word concerning the custody agreement he already settled with Jennifer, giving her primary custody."

The source continued, "He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she's having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her on the deepest level."

A pal close to Lopez, however, told the mag Jennifer is "ready to smash him if he tries anything. It's getting vicious."

Bruce Campbell Is Back in Oz: The Great and Powerful

Bruce Campbell is back in Oz: The Great and Powerful

Back in August, we reported that actor Bruce Campbell joined the cast of Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great and Powerful in a small but "pivotal" role. However, the actor revealed last month that his scene was cut before it was shot. The latest twist is that, somehow, the actor actually did shoot this scene. Here's what he had to say about his role in Oz: The Great and Powerful.

"The scene that I shot was a page [of the script] and it took all day. It was great to see the scope of Oz and to see the detail, and the craftsmanship and the professionalism and the incredible stuff that they're doing visually in every other way. I play a pivotal role. It involves me and Oz - that's James Franco - and let's just say that we have a confrontation. It was a very fun role to do actually."

It seems Bruce Campbell will have an appearance in Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great and Powerful after all, although we still have no information about what character he plays.

Oz: The Great and Powerful comes to theaters March 8th, 2013 and stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Abigail Spencer, Zach Braff, Joey King. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.

The Tea Party Frontman Talks 'Temptations' That Tore Band Apart

Getting a band back together after six years apart isn't easy. But for one-time Can-rock staple the Tea Party, their recent reunion involved a lot more than polishing up some tunes from their multi-platinum catalogue and cashing in on nostalgia.

After taking an indefinite hiatus in 2005, the trio reconvened for a handful of shows over the past summer. Things went so well they tackled a Canadian tour this fall -- which, no surprise, coincided with putting their website on the auction block for a $500,000 minimum after the U.S. Tea Party political movement expressed interest in acquiring the domain. But even after spending some quality time together, there's uncertainty about whether they've overcome the personal issues that pushed them apart.

"What was tough was walking into the room [for the first rehearsal]," frontman Jeff Martin explains. "We hadn't seen or spoken to each other in six years, so for all of us it was awkward."

Report: Did Kobe Have 10 Affairs a Year for the Last Decade?

Posted: 21 Dec 2011 10:03 AM PST

NBA star and cheater Kobe Bryant reportedly had 10 affairs a year during the course of his decade-long marriage to wife Vanessa, including one with a teenage Lakers cheerleader, according to the National Enquirer.

kobe-vanessa.jpg

Bryant was also linked to Playboy hottie Jessica Burciaga -- who denied she was the other woman to TMZ. The five-time NBA champ is rumored to have dated Carla DiBello, Kim Kardashian's best friend and producer of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" -- for the past few years.

Bryant, 33, was reportedly busted after the wives of his teammates snitched on him to Vanessa, who was fed up with his infidelity. "Lifechangers" host Dr. Drew Pinsky said, "It sounds like in this case, Kobe's wife has had enough. It's terrible for the kids. Hopefully they can insulate them as much as possible."

According to another report from TMZ, Vanessa waited for the ten-year mark before divorcing so she would be entitled to half of Kobe's multi-million dollar fortune. The two do not have a prenup.

Vanessa's former stepfather, Stephen Laine, claimed Vanessa was acting just like her money-obsessed mother. Laine said, "In California... it's considered a long-term marriage and then she gets paid for life until she remarries... just like her mother is doing to me."

Meanwhile, Kobe has moved out of their posh Newport Beach estate and plans to stay focused on basketball and his two young daughters.
