I don't understand The Change-Up???

So I just watched The Change-Up with two of my friends, they liked it but I thought that the movie sucked.

It was typical hollywood crude humor with a reused plot. My friend says I just don't understand.

'Real Steel' and 'Ides of March' Dominate Weekend Box Office

Posted: 09 Oct 2011 11:08 AM PDT

This weekend at the box office proved that male driven action-packed and politically-conscious feature films still do the trick on American movie-goers.

"Real Steel," starring Aussie actor Hugh Jackman brought in $29 million this weekend, earning first place at box offices across the country. The robot battle film based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, surrounds a struggling robot boxing promoter who insists he's found the next champion while discovering he has a young son. Second this weekend in theaters with $10.5 million in revenue was "Ides of March." George Clooney and Ryan Gosling star in this film about a young idealistic campaign staff member (Gosling) working with a new president (Clooney) as he learns about all the deception and dirt that goes along with working in politics. The family-friendly flick "Dolphin Tale" held the third spot this weekend with $9 million, maintaining its third chart-topping box office week since being released.Brad Pitt's "Moneyball" also stayed strong during its third week in theaters, raking in another $7.3 million, while "50/50" was close behind with $5.3 million.

Feist Makes Stellar Return At Star-Studded Toronto Show

Something strange has happened since Feist made us dance around with our iPods to 'The Reminder' back in 2007.

And that strange thing is Florence and the Machine, Lykke Li, Lights, Jenn Grant, Dum Dum Girls, Warpaint, St. Vincent, Ohbijou, Rebekah Higgs, Bat For Lashes, My Brightest Diamond, Lavender Diamond, She & Him, Priscilla Ahn... The list goes on, but basically, in the time Leslie Feist has been out of the spotlight, her place in the musical hierarchy has more than ably been filled by a revolving cast of diverse, dynamic, world-class women who don't resort to parading around in short shorts to peddle their art.

Robert Downey Jr. Reflects On Iron Man's Success & Slight Letdown With the Sequel

Posted: 09 Oct 2011 10:08 AM PDT

Ultimately reflecting on his career with the Los Angeles Times, actor Robert Downey Jr. also dotted on the "life-changing" success of Marvel Studios' first independently-produced flick, Iron Man; and minor disappointment with its 2010 sequel. Unfortunately lacking any tidbits on next summer's reprisal in Marvel's The Avengers, check out what the praised 'Tony Stark' actor says below. "The first one changed everything for me and with the second 'Iron Man' there were certain aspects that were dissatisfying and disappointing to me but at least they lit me right.... [The first one] was a meditation on responsibility and an exploration of how a small group of people can take a two-dimensional idea and, if the winds are right, create something that makes people say, 'That was my favorite movie of the year.' To me, Tony Stark's story is a karma story and a technology story. I love a good action movie — a

Paul McCartney Married in London!

Former Beatle frontman Paul McCartney wed Nancy Shevell on Sunday in a civil marriage ceremony in London, England. The couple was all smiles as they left the event and were congratulated by excited fans.

The American heiress bride wore a beautiful above-the-knee white wedding gown crafted by none other than McCartney's designer daughter, Stella. Her long brown hair was styled with a white flower. Sir McCartney donned a dapper navy blue suit with a light blue tie for the occasion. According to USA Today, after the ceremony, the newlyweds drove off in a burgundy Lexus for a small, lavish reception at their London home in the St. John's Wood neighborhood. Guests enjoyed champagne and wedding cake, as well as seeing another famous Beatle bandmate of McCartney's -- Ringo Starr. Starr kept his attire understated with a black T-shirt underneath his suit jacket and his actress wife,Barbara Bach, on his arm. Although details of the civil ceremony were not publicly released as of yet, reports imply that McCartney's brother Michael served as best man and his youngest daughter Beatrice took part in the festivities as a flower girl. The singer is no stranger to walking down the aisle. McCartney was married twice prior to marrying Shevell, 51. The newlyweds supposedly met in the Hamptons in New York, following the performer's 2008 divorce from Heather Mills. This is the second marriage for Shevill.

Paul McCartney Marries Nancy Shevell In London

LEON NEAL, AFP

Wedding bells have rung once more for Paul McCartney, who married Nancy Shevell, his third wife, today (Oct. 9) in London.

Earlier this afternoon, hundreds of well-wishers greeted the former Beatle and his bride as they arrived at the Old Marylebone Town Hall -- the same place where McCartney said "I do" to his first wife, Linda, in 1969.

Macca and his missus were decked out in clothes designed by Stella McCartney, Paul's daughter, and among those in attendance were Barbara Walters -- Chevell's second cousin -- and Ringo Starr, the only other surviving Beatle. Shevell is Jewish, and the pair prefaced Sunday's civil ceremony with a blessing Saturday at a local synagogue.

McCartney began dating Shevell, a New York socialite and trucking heiress, four years ago. The rocker's second marriage ended in 2008, when he underwent a bitter divorce from model Heather Mills. At least one good thing came out of that marriage -- a daughter Beatrice, who served as a bridesmaid at today's ceremony.
