NYCC'11: First Five Minutes Of The Walking Dead Season 2 Premiere! Posted: 16 Oct 2011 10:07 AM PDT The first 5-minutes of the season premiere was screened at New York Comic Con last night, and now it's online for you to check out. Jon Bernthal(Shane), Norman Reedus(Daryl Dixon), Laurie Holden(Andrea), Lauren Cohan(Maggie Greene), Steven Yeun (Glenn) and Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) were on the stage last night with the producers Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero. The new season of The Walking Dead starts with a 90 minute event today on AMC, in Brazil it is coming 2 days later, on October 18 at FOX!

However, if like me you prefer the TV show over the novels, this may not come as such great news due to the fact that the planned comic book series will be written by the creator of the character and set in the world of Jeff Lindsey's books - and as you may know, they're pretty different from the Showtime series starring Michael C. Hall! Many thanks to Comic Book Resources for the following. The panel wrapped with Quesada saying, "I don't know if you guys are fans of this little series called 'Dexter'..." Fourth Starship Troopers Installment Will be Animated Posted: 16 Oct 2011 09:26 AM PDT After the original film released in 1997, and ultimately becoming a cult-favorite of sorts, Sony Pictures released two direct-to-DVD sequels that actually did fairly well. There has been talk of a fourth film in the series for some time and now we have confirmation of that. This installment, however, will be taking a different route and be an animated feature. Starship Troopers: Invasion is currently in production and on track for a Summer 2012 release. Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Halo Legend) is on board to direct the film, with Casper Van Dien producing (possibly returning to voice Johnny Rico as well) with script-writer Ed Neumeier, who penned the previous three films. We also have a plot summary to go along with the promo art (pictured): A distant Federation outpost Fort Casey comes under attack by bugs. I recently saw Crazy, Stupid, Love. Great movie! Posted: 16 Oct 2011 09:27 AM PDT I'm not normally into romantic comedy type movies, but I love Ryan Gosling and haven't really ever had a problem with Steve Carell. I decided to give it a shot and thought it was a really great film. You definitely connect with all the characters and root for all of them. Also, a lot of criticism of Carell is that he always plays the same character, but I think this film definitely shows a bit of dimension out of him. Shannen Doherty Marries Kurt Iswarienko Posted: 16 Oct 2011 09:25 AM PDT Shannen Doherty married fiance Kurt Iswarienko in Malibu on Saturday, according to People. The former "90210" star said "I do" at an elegant black-tie affair at a private estate nestled in the hills. The wedding is reportedly airing on the season finale of Doherty and Iswarienko's upcoming reality show on WEtv. The actress, 40, best known for her role as Brenda Walsh on FOX's original "90210" series, walked down the aisle for the third time. She was previously hitched to Ashley Hamilton and Paris Hilton's ex and sex tape partner, Rick Saloman.

Zachary Quinto: I'm Gay Posted: 16 Oct 2011 09:11 AM PDT Former "Heroes" villain Zachary Quinto recently addressed his sexual orientation in an interview with NY magazine, talking about his off-Broadway work in "Angels in America," saying, "As a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed." Quinto, 34, was referring to his role as Louis Ironson, a man who abandons his AIDS-stricken lover. The "Star Trek" actor said the play is "the most challenging thing I've ever done as an actor, and the most rewarding." Zachary also spoke about legalizing gay marriage and the suicide of bullied gay teenager Jamey Rodemeyer, explaining, there is a "hopelessness that surrounds" the rights and treatment of being gay. "Where's this disparity coming from, and why can't we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?" he says. "We're terrified of facing ourselves."
